I have given this lots of thought whilst I was closed in September, and I thought let’s see if things change in October, however, sadly there’s been far too many occasions during the last few months where people have booked and not showed up or cancelled at very short notice; not only is this disappointing, it’s a wasted appointment for someone else, and additionally as a small business owner, I am losing money.
Therefore, I am starting to request a deposit when booking; this is non-refundable, but will be used towards payment of your piercing, should you attend on time.
I believe in making things simple:
1. If you cancel less than 24hrs before your appointment, you shall lose your deposit
2. If you do not show up for your appointment, you shall lose your deposit
3. If you attend halfway through your appointment, you may be turned away and will lose your deposit
Anyone wishing to book, and contacts me via social media will be directed to my website where they can book and pay the deposit. If you do not wish to book and pay deposit, I do accept walk-ins, however, during certain periods of the year, there’s always the risk you may be turned away if I have no availability and/or you may have to wait outside until I’m free.
