Before anyone has a piercing, we discuss consent & aftercare.
Children's Ear Piercing
I perform children's lobe piercings from age 6, this is my age limit and will not pierce any child younger than that.
If the piercing is for a child, this means that a parent/guardian must accompany and consent given for the child to have their piercings. HOWEVER, this does not mean because the parent/guardian has given their consent, that I will perform the piercing, this has to be the child's decision. I will not perform any piercing unless I can see the child is willing and has no doubts.
Consent is key, having their ears pierced is a huge thing for a child (and for the parent/guardian). My aim is to create a less anxious and scary memory for them, but they need to understand the procedure involves needles; I do not use any forms of a gun.
If the child changes their mind before any piercings are done, that is OK, if they want to stop after just one, that is also OK, I want the child to leave me feeling respected and happy with whatever decision they have made.
They also need to follow the aftercare process for their fresh piercing , with a little help from a parent/guardian.
A lot of common concerns with your piercing are NOT an infection, however if you are concerned, please don't hesitate to contact me with ANY questions or concerns you may have with your piercing.
Genital Piercing - prerequisites for a genital piercing the area should be freshly washed and trimmed of pubic hair.
(Please note, I'm a male body piercer in my own private studio, if you feel comfortable bringing a companion with you for any intimate piercings, please feel free to do so)
A valid form of photo ID should be available on request.
Make sure you eat well the day before and on the day of your piercing as this will ensure your blood sugar levels are at their best; minimising any risk of fainting.
You should try to avoid drinking alcohol and taking recreational drugs the day before and on the day of your piercing as this thins the blood, which can increase the risk of bleeding when the piercing is performed.
If you take medication that thins your blood, or you live with haemophilia, unfortunately, I won’t be able to pierce you, due to increased risk of bleeding and infection
